integrated engineering team. You will collaborate across Honeywell
engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the
evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases
of product development and will be a coach and mentor to less
experienced engineers. Key Responsibilities
- You will work under general supervision and alongside some of
the world's most talented engineers
- You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next
generation of products supporting new products from concept
development through the start of production for manufacturing cost,
yield, and schedule execution
- You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals
who support current product value engineering and the optimization
of the manufacturing process
- Coach development teams on and review product and process
design related documents, such as DFMEAs, PMAPs, PFMEAs, MSAs and
Control Plans throughout the IPDS processYOU MUST HAVE
- -5+ years of engineering experience
- Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical
engineering, materials science or similar field
- 2+ years of experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning
(APQP) processes
- Due to export control laws, must be a US Citizen -WE VALUE
- Basic knowledge of the field's standards and
specifications
- Experience working in New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize
manufacturing processes
- Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as
appropriate for the topic and audience
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little
supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things
done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by
events
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face
of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
- Demonstrated experience with design tools appropriate for the
field (Mathcad/Matlab/MiniTab, etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership experience in coordinating and
overseeing successful projects
- Six Sigma Greenbelt certified
- Knowledge
or experience with regulatory requirements and ISO 9000:2000,
AS9100 Quality
Systems
- Proficient in using Root Cause Analysis and Six Sigma tools for
problem resolution
- Strong analytical skills to develop and execute continuous
improvement plans
- Able to manage multiple prioritiesCompensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $120k-$180K
