improvement of manufacturing process safety, quality, productivity
and cost.* Preparation, coordination, and implementation of expense
and capital budget projects.* Reviews new and revised product
designs to assess impact on manufacturing processes then readies
facility and processes for production volumes.* Plant layouts,
facility rearrangements, and production equipment design,
installation and validation.* Monitors maintenance activity to
ensure machine capability, reliability and durability is
maintained.* Continuous process improvement through application of
Lean and Six Sigma methodology.Job Functions / Responsibilities*
Prompt mitigation of identified safety, quality and productivity
issues.* Research quality problems to identify opportunities for
improvement.* Define how assembly processes should be performed to
assemble parts to specification safely and efficiently with input
from production personnel.* Determine process variables which
require monitoring to determine if the processes are in control and
capable.* Research capital budget ideas, prepare justification,
design/purchase equipment, and coordinate installation.* Review
major product changes and provide input to Design Engineering on
manufacturability and develop manufacturing processes.* Rearrange
assembly areas and design new production equipment to accommodate
product changes and/or improve process flow.Qualifications &
Skills* Engineering degree required (Mechanical or
Manufacturing/Industrial preferred).* In depth product knowledge
highly desirable.* Ability to manage multiple projects
effectively.* Minimum 5 years related experience.* Prior background
in manufacturing environment.* Strong PC and CAD skills.Salary
InformationAt PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and

including your education, training, or experience. The salary range
for Sr. Manufacturing Engineer is $80,800 - 126,600 annually.
Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit
