Job Description:

Position Summary:This is a highly visible position requiring experience in the development and delivery of commercial aircraft passenger cabin products to Boeing and Airbus Americas (OEMs). This person will act as the USA-based point of contact responsible for actively managing both internal and external relationships between RECARO and Boeing and RECARO and Airbus Americas. This will include managing and facilitating communication on behalf of RECARO. This position requires excellent customer relationship skills, ability to manage multiple stakeholders and effectively coordinate seating product delivery process at OEM facilities located in the USA. The role is based in the Seattle area within close proximity to Boeing's facilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:Work with OEM and RECARO organizations maintain and develop best practices to support RECARO business strategy and OEM relations.Lead and organize Executive briefings and operational meetings.Develop strategic relationship with OEMs and RECARO, supporting ongoing business activities (i.e. delivery performance, SFE programs, seating catalogue, etc.)Identify and foster OEM key contacts, ensuring access, and insights into, OEM programs.Collect, analyze, and present relevant market information from Boeing/OEMs and share knowledge within RECARO.Manage activities supporting operational performance between OEM and RECARO.Support engineering organizations in specification development, product improvement, and feasibility of implementation.Evaluate and assess OEM business inquiries.Manage contractual obligations, including close coordination with OEM and RECARO. Introduce and support RECARO product portfolio and processes with OEM.Support program field service team, maintaining effective communicate with RECARO sales, engineering, and customer service to ensure support for on time aircraft delivery.Responsible for RECARO seats located in the OEM Boeing onsite showrooms.Coordinate with VP / Director of Sales to provide situational analysis at OEMs to improve and enhance RECARO's global sales strategy by providing insight to improving RECARO's position in OEM seating programs with airlines purchasing new line fit aircraft. On an as needed basis provide support on the following:Coordinates with RECARO Bid Management and Sales to assist and prepare RFP responses and proposal development supporting OEM and customer programs.Provide input to strategic content of commercial proposals including, but not limited to, Executive Summaries highlighting RECARO attributes, ensuring RECARO meets or exceeds OEM RFP requirements.Coordinate with RECARO VP/Director of Sales for all commercial submittals relating to OEM programs.Coordinate POs with RECAROI sales managementCoordinate delivery planning with Global Order ManagementMaintaining relationship with logistic companies working for RECAROUnderstands new product development, knowledge of competition products, and market trends to contribute to sales requirements in the marketplace for all seat classes. Maintain documentation to support negotiations of all pre-award activity, ensuring accuracy and completeness for an awarded program.Provide summary-based report to document proposal outcomes and lessons learned.Negotiate Contracts with Customers in cooperation with RECARO legal team and VP / Director of Sales. .

Experience and technical skills:Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Aerospace Product Support role for commercial aircraft interior products with strong customer relations skills.Must be able to work flexible hours, as needed. Overtime and infrequent travel required on short notice. Must have a valid driver's license.Knowledge and ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and specifications.Experience creating and communicating executive-level briefings, ensuring high degree of accuracy and business acumen.Experience in negotiation between stakeholders in senior leadership rolesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.The above job description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other occasional work assignments not mentioned, the inclusion of which would be in conformity with the evaluation assigned to this job.Qualifications and Education Requirements:A Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering is required, or, alternatively, 10 years of experience in a technical Product Support role for commercial aircraft interior products.Basic management skills are required, including skills for the management of a small team of technical support personnel.Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.Ability to multi-task and also provide support to multiple departments globally.Must have good communication skills and basic computer skills.Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.PI152638011
