Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes' (BCA) 737 Program is seeking First Line Managers - Manufacturing & Flight Line (level K) to support the Moses Lake, Washington Temporary Storage Site Location.Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal and coaching skills, enabling our business unit to embrace and elevate One BPS (Boeing Production System) culture, tools and key performance indicators. • Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery.
• Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Moses Lake, WA.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. -120.15 is required. - "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. - Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing or Flight line operations.
  • Ability to work a variable shift as needed for business.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • Possess an A&P Repairman Certificate or ability to obtain/OR 18 month's hands-on experience with airplane production, maintenance and systems.
    • Experience with any of the following: - avionics, troubleshooting capabilities, functional test knowledge, release, ticket experience, manufacturing, and/or structures.
    • Proficiency using CMES and Velocity software.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.This position is a temporary assignment located in Moses Lake, Washington.
