is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to
join the 737 Team based out of Renton, Washington. -This position
will focus on supporting the Fulfillment Organization for the 737
Program. - The selected candidate will collaborate with all aspects
of the business from the ground floor to the executive level in
areas such as inventory management, manufacturing, and product
delivery to support the planning of projects, monitoring, driving
project progress, and maintaining project files.Position
Responsibilities:
- Leads others and advises all phases of assigned
cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating
proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with
accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI,
Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO
standards)
- Oversight and management responsibility (including performance
to plan reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects
in support of organizational goals and objectives. Identifies key
stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements
- Develops solutions to sophisticated problems that require
resourcefulness and innovation
- Provides in-depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide
historical reports to incorporate into future project plans
- Provides input of team member performance to management where
appropriate
- Self-motivated and able to work independentlyThis position is
expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be
required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This
position must meet Export Control compliance requirements,
therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is
required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent
resident, refugee, or asylee. - - Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 or more years' related work experience
or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.
Master+8 years related work experience, etc.)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- 3+ years of experience leading projects through a complete
project lifecycle (initiating, planning, implementing, monitoring &
controlling, and closeout)
- 3+ years of experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing and
analyzing data
- 3+ years of experience working directly with executives or
senior leadersPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Program Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management
Professional (PMP) certification
- 3+ years of experience leading others and advising business
unit projects showing strength in all project management areas in
accordance with accepted project management standards in the
industry
- The individual must be hardworking and hands on in their
approach and possess strong written and oral communication
skills
- Strong, independent leader, who is a self-starter and a proven
teammate in a high achievement-oriented environment
- Warehousing or Fulfillment Experience preferred
- Flexibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced, multifaceted,
team environment
- Experience providing briefings to senior and/or executive level
management
- Experience with RIO (Risk, Issues, and Opportunities) in
project planning and implementationTypical Education/Experience:
-Education/experience typically acquired through sophisticated
education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related
work experience or an equivalent combination of education and
experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years'
related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is
