The ideal candidate will have experience in providing speech and language therapy to patients in a home health setting, as well as a strong understanding of communication. -What we offer our Speech Language Pathologist: - - Competitive pay, benefits, and incentives - - Weekly pay, and Direct Deposit. $50-$54/hour - - Fitness reimbursement - - Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University - - PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision insurance - - Continuing education and paid orientation -Speech Language Pathologist Position Details: - - Type: 13 weeks contract - - Shift & Schedule: -Shift Start Time : 8 or 9 am,40/weekResponsibilities: - - Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing skilled care to patients requiring speech therapy services in the home in conjunction with the patient, - - - family, and the interdisciplinary team, as ordered by the physician. - - Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients. - - - Initiates, develops, implements and revises the patient's plan of care (POC). - - - Addresses all problems identified in the POC. - - - Provides educational information to the patient/family/caregiver concerning knowledge deficits or needs regarding the patient's condition.Requirements: - - Current SLP licensure to practice Speech-Language in Washington State - - Recent clinical experience in a medical/ surgical unit, rehab, or home health setting. - - Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire - - 3 years clinical experience; experience in Home Health preferred; Geriatric experience needed. - - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - - Current BLS certification - - Two (2) positive work references - - Successfully complete and pass a background check and drug test.Desired for the position: Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology and experience on an inpatient rehab unit and/or acute care settings -Who We Are: -Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare, Inc. is the nation's most experienced healthcare network.
