Job Description Talent4Health is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Renton, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Required Certifications ARRT, BLS IR Tech Position – Washington State Likely Contract End Date: 1/3/2026 Important Compliance Note Do NOT submit any travelers with license issues related to: Diverting medications Patient endangerment These will result in immediate contract cancellation . Facility & Unit Details Number of Suites/Labs : 3 rooms currently; 4th room opening March. Procedure Locations : Hybrid OR, CT, Ultrasound, MRI (nurses float to assist). Average Case Volume : Cath Labs : ~17/day Total (All Areas) : 22–23/day Required Certifications ARRT or ICRS ACLS ??? Patient Types & Procedures Common Service Lines : Vascular Neuro EP (Electrophysiology) Cardiology Interventional Radiology (IR) Cath Lab Cath Lab : Diagnostic/intervention Rotablator, shockwave Future: Impella Right heart caths prepping for structural procedures IR : Ports, G-tubes, drains, nephrostomies, biliary drains Less frequent: Embolizations, coiling Common: Dialysis and other lines EP (Techs only assist if validated) : Ablations, device implants, temp pacemakers Anesthesia present on all EP cases ??? Nursing Responsibilities Procedure Nurses : Circulate and monitor during cases; may float to radiology areas Recovery Nurses : Manage 17-bed recovery area; perform: Conscious sedation Bone marrow aspiration Bronchoscopies Cardioversions Must-Have Skills Ventilator management Pressor management (for procedure rooms) Systems & Equipment EMR : Epic Other : GE MACLab, Siemens X-ray, PACS ? Scheduling & Shifts Techs : 4x10-hour shifts Typical: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM Call : 1x weekday/week Every 3rd–4th weekend 1 holiday/year (shared with perm staff) Response Time : Techs & procedure nurses: 30 minutes Recovery nurses: 45 minutes Overtime : Available Dress Code : Scrubs provided Staffing Structure Cath Lab Techs : ~10/day if fully staffed 3 techs per room 2 techs on call per team Cardiologist Coverage : In-house: Mon–Fri, 7 AM – 7 PM On-call: After hours Leadership : Charge Nurse and Tech Supervisor Orientation Length : Up to 2 weeks (based on experience) About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
