Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Neuro RN in Renton, Washington, 98055! Job Title:

Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: Minimum of 2 years License:

Minimum of 2 years of experience required. - Previous license hits
will not be accepted regardless of the date of occurrence, nature
of the hit, or status of the license. - Should be well-versed in
cardiac arrhythmias and up-to-date on EKG competencies.
Description: Unit has 30 beds catering to a wide range of patients,
primarily those recovering from strokes and seizures. Typical
patient conditions include post-ictal seizure patients, new strokes
requiring neuro checks every two hours, and patients who have
undergone TPA/TNK administration. The unit also handles patients
s/p craniectomies/burr holes, elective VEEG where seizure induction
occurs, and those on amiodarone/diltiazem drips. Additional patient
types include those who have just undergone cardiac
catheterizations, PM/ICD placements, and ablations, as well as IVIG
and plasmapheresis patients. There may also be overflow
medical-surgical patients as needed. Nurses must complete 8 hours
of neuro education annually. Call responsibilities are as needed,
and holiday and weekend shifts are required in rotation. Charting
is completed via Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient EMR.
