Clinic RN - Primary Care at Providence Health and Services
summary: The Clinic RN in Primary Care provides professional
nursing care following state regulations and organizational
protocols, collaborating with healthcare teams in outpatient
settings. Responsibilities include clinical care, teaching,
consulting, care coordination, and leadership, with a focus on
behavioral health and patient-centered approaches. The role
requires relevant nursing licensure with experience in ambulatory
or hospital settings, emphasizing whole-person care and inclusive
workplace values. Description Provides professional nursing care as
directed by the Washington State Nurse Practice Act and Pacific
Medical Centers policies, procedures, and protocols; i.e. provides
primary and specialty health care services in collaboration with
other members of the health care team while integrating the nursing
roles of clinical, teaching, consulting, care coordination/case
management, and leadership. Utilizes a systematic approach to
nursing practice, incorporating the principles of Nursing Process

Qualifications: Nursing degree (Baccalaureate, Associate or
Diploma) from an accredited school of nursing. Upon hire:
Washington Registered Nurse License. Upon hire: National Provider
BLS - American Heart Association. 1 year Recent RN experience in a
patient care setting or clinical commensurate. 2 years Behavioral
Health assignments only: In acute or ambulatory Behavioral Health.
Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Recent RN experience in a patient
care setting in area(s) of responsibility. Recent prior experience
in a hospital and out-patient setting. Recent prior experience with
phone triage. 3 years Behavioral Health assignments only:
