Job Description:
Manager Nursing - Surgical Services at Providence Health and
Services summary: The Manager Nursing - Surgical Services is
responsible for overseeing clinical and operational activities
across various surgical and perioperative units, including
anesthesia, surgery, and recovery. This leadership role requires
staff development, quality control implementation, and management
in alignment with healthcare standards. The position demands a
nursing degree, licensure, clinical experience, and leadership
skills to ensure high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
Description Responsible for the direct planning, leading,
organization and control of defined area. This may include
responsibility for the 24-hour management of Anesthesia, Surgery,
Endoscopy, Electro Convulsive Therapy, Post Anesthesia Recovery
Unit, Sterile Processing, and Cath Lab at the responsible Campus.
Responsible for staff development, implementation of standards and
quality control, and for all clinical and operational activities of
the units in accordance with Swedish Medical Center's mission,

Nursing Degree, from an accredited school of nursing Washington
Registered Nurse License upon hire National Provider BLS - American
Heart Association upon hire Display the competencies of nurse
leadership 3 years recent experience in related clinical area of
nursing with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership
qualities Preferred qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing, or

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job

pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
