Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred, experience with geriatric population highly preferred License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with geriatric population Description: This position is part of a program that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible while living in the community. The role involves working in clinics, conducting home visits, and providing care and support to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient nursing. First-timers are accepted for this position. No weekend work or on-call requirements are expected. Float requirements between units are not applicable. Local candidates are accepted but not required. The charting system used is EPIC. Candidates should be skilled in family care, internal medicine, and urgent care. Other responsibilities include interpreting laboratory results, conducting medication reconciliation, and obtaining vital signs. The nurse will also be involved in dressing changes and patient follow-up communications.
