Licensed Social Worker Location: Tacoma, WA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $2,540 to $2,734 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title Social Worker City/State: Tacoma, Washington Shift: 8H Days Contract Length: 89 weeks Start Date: 05/04/2026 Job Description: We are seeking a Social Worker with a strong background in acute inpatient social work and case management. The position involves working with adult inpatient populations in various departments, excluding pediatrics, labor delivery, and NICU. Responsibilities: Provide acute care case management and conduct behavioral health assessments. Plan, diagnose, and discharge patient care for post-acute placements, understanding regulatory requirements. Use EPIC for electronic medical records management. Requirements: Master's degree in social work and active WA state License. LICSW certification required. At least 2 years of recent acute inpatient social work/case management experience and 4 years of overall social work experience. Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
