Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner Inpatient Psychiatry January May 2026 Washington State

Ascend Medical is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens opportunity at an inpatient psychiatric facility in Seattle, Washington.

Position Details:

• Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry
• Patient Population: Adults with mental illness (including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar disorder)
• Facility Size: 70 beds
• Census: Approximately 12 patients per shift
• Admissions: 3 4 per week
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Full-time, 40 hours/week)
• Call/Weekends: None
• Support Staff: Dedicated social worker, court evaluator, and on-site pharmacy

Assignment Details:

• Start Date: January 1, 2026
• Duration: Through May 2026 (with potential for extension)
• Credentialing: days

Requirements:

• Active Washington license or IMLC eligibility
• Previous inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
