ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSProvide professional, prompt, and accurate order entry services. Ensure the products requested are available and meet the customer's specifications. Ensure all orders are entered to the system within 2 hours of receipt and issue confirmation back to the customer. Advise the customer of any potential shortage or delay caused by a lack of available inventory. Achieve a 98% order fulfillment targetEnsure professional communications with OBI Seafoods' domestic sales teams, brokers and customers as well as vendors and internal staff. Achieve a rating of "Excellent" from sales, brokers, and customersSupport order process with the input of Trace Register data where needed.Provide back-up for product data entry for portals like 1 World SyncProvide prompt, pro-active support to our clients and brokers including phone, fax, and e-mails. Establish a metric of responding within 1 hour on fax, and e-mail requests and 30 minutes on any phone requests. Work to build relationships with customer buyers that ensure satisfaction and confidence in OBI Seafoods as a quality vendorKeep all customer proprietary information confidential and secureProvide support to the sales organization by generating inventory status reports and assist in the preparation of new account set-up processes and annual contract data collectionEnsure all product price lists including targeted inventory are up to date and available to the field sales force and broker communityEmbrace all cross-training opportunities to ensure familiarity with all product lines and ability to enter orders in multiple systems to cover other customer service desks during absencesResponsible for entry of Trace Register info for all accounts and ordersProcess canned seafood orders for OBI SeafoodsProcess Smoked and Value added seafoods orders for Ocean Beauty Seafoods LLCPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEA high school diploma or equivalent experienceMinimum of two (2) years customer service.A high degree of personal organization and disciplineDemonstrated ability to be pro-active and take initiativeA high level of competency in Excel spreadsheetsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA deep understanding of order entry and customer service skillsExcited and motivated to grow with a companyAdvanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and follow up skillsKnowledge of the retail and foodservice seafood industry is preferredCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS401K Retirement Plan with Company matchMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancesPPO and HSA Plans OfferedPTO and Paid HolidaysFlexible Spending Account (Flex Plan)Life InsuranceLong Term Disability InsuranceProfessional work environmentOpportunities in our growing companyWork Schedule:This position is based out of our Renton location, but currently you may need to be able to work remotely from a home office. Core hours are Monday-Friday, 7a-4p. Prompt and reliable attendance is required to ensure that critical deadlines are met as well as being predictably available for employees and managers.
