Reports to: Manager, Enterprise Architecture Functions
Supervised: None Primary Functions: Responsible for consulting and
management of the Microsoft 365 technology suite. Monitoring of new
changes and configuration of new capabilities with an emphasis on
security and adoption for greenfield Microsoft 365. Assists in
defining governance, monitoring changes in trends of usage,
detecting critical deficiencies, isolating legacy and technical
debt, and recommending solutions for improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, recommend and articulate strategic roadmaps for
Microsoft 365Building and maintaining relationships with
organizational stakeholders by leveraging consultative

additions, enhancements or fixes to Microsoft 365 suite of
applications and services.
- Provide actionable recommendations through communicating risks
and implications regarding technical decisions.
- Understanding the long-term ("big picture strategist") and
short-term ("small picture tactician") perspectives of

Microsoft 365 application suite.
- Comprehend and translate business goals and drivers into
appropriate technical solutions.
- Understand and adhere to the Credit Union's information
security standards, policies and controls.--
- Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to
mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues
needing escalation to management.
- Stay abreast of changes and new releases to the Microsoft 365
suite evergreen model, learning them, and implementing as
- Assist in the development of training documentation and provide
training as needed.
- Be the subject matter expert to respond and resolve escalated
incidents involving the Microsoft 365 suite of products in a timely
- Engage Microsoft for support and guidance as necessary on
technical issues or development.

Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems
Management or related field.Creditable Experience in Lieu of
Education: 8 years relevant work experience supporting Microsoft
platforms.Experience/Skills: One or more Microsoft Certifications
preferred, such as Microsoft 365 MCSA, MCSE. Hands on experience
with deployment, migration, and support of core M365 services.
Adept in PowerShell and Scripting to support administration and
automation of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Technologies.
Experience with managing MS Teams chat and collaboration, including
configuring messaging policies, external access, channels for a
team, private channel creation policies, e-mail integration, and
external access. Working knowledge of data governance, Information
Rights Management (IRM), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) practices
and methodologies. Success factors for this role include a strong
