Position Summary:As the Senior System Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Windows Server infrastructure with a focus on operating system integrity, security, and performance. The key duties for this role involve tasks associated with server administration in a highly virtualized environment, perform system maintenance, support and management of the Windows Server OS throughout the enterprise.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as HealthPoint's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Windows engineering and administration.
  • Design and implement:
    • 1) On premise and cloud-based servers, network hardware and storage:
    • 2) Virtualization environments (VMWare or public cloud based hypervisors);
      • 3) System monitoring of server and network environments including cloud and on premise based infrastructure.
        • Responsible for organization wide backups of all network devices and servers and managing other IT positions providing back up support.
        • Develop and mentor IT staff and facilitate their needs related to systems, networks, and infrastructure.
        • Implement performance reporting to support capacity planning and growth.
        • Design and implement performance tuning and resource optimization.
        • Develop detailed documentation of all systems including business continuity and disaster recovery plan.
        • Implement and manage Office 365 environment as well as Active Directory including Group policy.
        • Participate, propose, and/or lead complex customer and internal projects.
        • Responsible for automation of routines and optimization of hardware and software platforms and will train IT team members to serve as back up.
        • Proactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent complex problems from occurring across teams/technologies.
        • Assist security team with implementing remediation to breaches of security policies. Follow corporate security procedures.
        • Participation in on-call weekend rotation with other IT Staff.
        • Maintains good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.
        • Demonstrate respectful, professional and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment.

        • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
          Must have's you'll need to be successful:
          • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Technology related field.
          • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Windows Systems Administration Experience.
          • Proof of immunizations and/or immunity to: COVID-19, MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), Varicella, Annual Influenza, and TB are required for all employees. Additionally, if you work in a HealthPoint clinic, Hepatitis B. and Tdap (within last 10 years) are required. All immunizations are a condition of employment. Upon hire, employees must provide proof of their immunizations and/or immunity prior to starting or no later than their fifth (5) business day of employment.
            Computer Skills:Must have working knowledge of the following:
            • On premise to cloud migrations.
            • Microsoft Office 365
            • VMWare ESXi, vSphere, and VCenter
            • Microsoft, Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, File Sharing
            • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and Wi-Fi Connectivity
            • SQL Backup, Recovery, and Replication, VEEAM, Cohesity
            • Microsoft Operating Systems (Server 2008-2019, Windows 7, 8 and 10)
            • Storage Servers NAS/DAS/SANs
            • Security Monitoring, Email Security, Network Security protocol
            • Microsoft Windows and Server Patches/updates
            • Printer configuration, print server, faxing, scanning
            • SSL and other Certificates
            • eFax services, PRI, Fax server
