a Chief Software Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in
Bellevue, Washington, Everett, Washington, Seattle, Washington,
Renton, Washington, or Tukwila, Washington.Position
Responsibilities:
- Leads in data infrastructure and MLOps
- Leads in deploying AI/ML applications
- Serves as company focal in applied Machine Learning, AI, Deep
Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Text (Classification, NLP, Topic
and Language Modeling, Sentiment Analysis, Information Retrieval),
Recommender Systems and Personalization, Fraud Risk and Threat
Detection, Computer Vision, Data Mining, Statistics, Big Data
- Drives, architects, and implements Data strategy and
infrastructure, MLOps and analysis/validation/testing
of--detection, tracking and estimation models, for the Contour
Scanning project
- Collects data and annotates in the real-world environment
- Codes and pipelines for analysis/testing
- Surrogates data sources
- Leads data annotation and infrastructure for the perception
tasks on the Caravan
- Drives transition AI/ML technology to Business Units
- Develops and executes project and process plans across multiple
program areasThis position is hybrid. This means that the selected
candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of
the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's
discretion and could potentially change in the future. This
position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet
export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined
by 22 C.F.R. --120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S.
Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. --Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an
accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning
- Experience in data analysis algorithms (e.g. data mining,
statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, text
mining, visual analytics)
- 3+ years of experience in algorithm development
- Experience with C++, Python, or other programming
languagesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in Python, R, Pytorch, Tensorflow, SQL
- Experience in data and cloud computing technology
- Experience with applying leading-edge techniques to various
industriesTypical Education/Experience: Education/experience
typically acquired through advanced technical education from an
accredited course of study in engineering, computer science,
mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14
or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related
work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the
USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required,
accreditation standard.Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a
