Job Description: Principal Software Delivery Lead at Holland America LineHolland America Line has been exploring the world since 1873. Our ships offer innovative features and enriching experiences focused on destination exploration and personalized travel, inviting guests to savor the journey.We're seeking a talented Principal Software Delivery Lead responsible for delivering new and enhanced technology solutions across our Fleet and Business Operations technology teams. This role oversees projects across Holland America Line, Seabourn, and HAP Alaska Brands, including business applications used by multiple brands including Princess. The role emphasizes project management and reporting skills, working closely with business analysts and scrum masters supporting various business software and Fleet technology initiatives. The individual collaborates with cross-functional business teams to define and deliver product development and technology roadmaps, driving automation and strategic reporting. They will also focus on improving Security and Compliance by working closely with corporate security teams to uphold security protocols.Responsibilities

• Lead daily decision-making, acting as a key link between business teams, product owners, managers, and IT technical teams and stakeholders.
• Utilize business acumen and technical expertise to clarify project financials, delivery expectations, and scope for complex business applications and third-party platforms.
• Oversee multiple functional areas, conduct business analysis, and leverage software and data center best practices.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and risk mitigation, adhering to project management methodologies.
• Optimize resource allocation and control expenditures to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Lead and manage teams of business analysts and scrum masters, setting expectations and fostering professional growth.
• Monitor team performance, resolve conflicts, and promote cross-departmental collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement to ensure successful project execution aligned with business objectives.
• Engage stakeholders actively, gather requirements, provide updates, and address challenges promptly.
• Maintain clear communication channels for project alignment and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead roadmap execution with leadership to align product initiatives with business goals.
• Focus on customer needs, reviewing and adjusting roadmaps based on feedback.
• Identify process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, reducing costs and accelerating delivery while maintaining quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements
  • 3+ years in software engineering, delivery, or related fields.
  • 3+ years in product and project management roles.
  • At least 5+ years managing business application technology, analytics, and software development teams.
  • Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Lean, DevOps, and modern software technologies.
  • Experience in large-scale website, mobile app, marketing technology, or enterprise solutions development.
  • Strong process improvement, project management, and product lifecycle skills.
  • Leadership experience with cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience in delivering complex technology projects with budget and resource management.This position follows a schedule of three days in the office (Tuesday-Thursday) with flexibility for remote work.What You Can Expect
