Job Description Job Description Construction Litigation Associate Construction Litigation Associate Base Salary: $160,000 - $240,000 Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Construction Litigation Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law and litigation, with the ability to manage complex cases related to construction disputes. The Construction Litigation Associate will be responsible for representing clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution related to construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing expert legal advice. Key Responsibilities - Represent clients in litigation and arbitration related to construction disputes. - Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including briefs and motions. - Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation processes to resolve disputes. - Manage all phases of case preparation, from initial investigation to trial. - Provide expert legal counsel on contract law and regulatory compliance in the construction industry. - Assist in risk management and insurance law matters related to construction projects. - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective representation. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction law and industry trends. Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. - Active license to practice law in Washington State. - 2 years of experience in construction litigation or related fields. - Strong understanding of contract law and property law. - Proven negotiation and dispute resolution skills. - Experience in trial preparation and client representation. - Excellent legal writing and research skills. - Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
