Associate Attorney - UIM Defense (Hybrid) Position Overview We are
seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in Uninsured Motorist
(UIM) claims to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate
will assist in managing UIM cases, providing top-notch legal
representation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
while striving for favorable outcomes for clients. Key
Responsibilities Manage a caseload of UIM claims and provide legal
representation for clients. Conduct thorough legal research and
analysis to support case strategies. Prepare and draft legal
documents including briefs, motions, and pleadings related to UIM
and personal injury cases. Negotiate settlements with insurance
companies and opposing counsel to achieve optimal results for
clients. Communicate with clients to keep them informed about case
progress and developments. Conduct trial preparation including
witness interviews and evidence organization. Handle coverage
disputes and provide advice on insurance defense matters. Ensure
compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the handling
of UIM cases. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an
accredited law school. Admission to the WSBA. 5 years of experience
in litigation, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury
law. Strong skills in legal research, writing, and analysis.
Experience with UIM claims is highly desirable. Excellent
negotiation and client communication skills. Ability to manage
multiple cases and prioritize tasks efficiently. Knowledge of
regulatory compliance and coverage disputes related to automobile
