Driver's seat! The TransWest Sponsored Training Program (TSTP) is
designed to meet Washington State and Federal Motor Carrier Safety
Administration (FMCSA) Entry-Level Driver Training requirements.
Upon successful completion of the program and licensing,
participants transition into a CDL driver role at TransWest. We are
seeking professional, safety minded Drivers who have a passion for
delivering great customer service to our clients! At TransWest we

basis, so we want to invest in you! Compensation: $25.00 - $25.00/

medical card & physicals Responsibilities: Complete TransWest’s
4-week Sponsored Training Program to obtain Passenger endorsement
Transport business clients to and from scheduled routes safely and
reliably Transport business clients to and from scheduled routes
safely and reliably Conduct daily vehicle safety checks on assigned
vehicles and report any defects in a timely manner; complete all
required operations documentation fully and accurately daily Create
a welcoming environment and deliver seamless experience for
corporate commuters Must be professional and safety minded Perform
DOT daily inspections on assigned equipment and fuel equipment as
necessary Provide excellent customer service in every interaction
Maintain vehicle cleanliness Other duties as assigned Requirements:
We will help you to obtain CDL Permit Must complete 4-week
TransWest Sponsored Training Program to obtain Passenger
endorsement which includes a comprehensive theory curriculum
followed by a behind-the-wheel practical training and assessment
Must be at least 21 years of age Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record 6
Months professional driving experience Current/Active DOT Medical
Card Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test Enjoy people and excel
at customer service Able to communicate proficiently in English
Able to work independently, yet able to take direction Able to pass
a criminal background check Physical Requirements Ability to remain
seated and operate a vehicle for extended periods. Ability to enter
and exit vehicles, including vehicles with stairs, multiple times
throughout the shift. Ability to perform routine vehicle
inspections, which may involve bending, reaching, or kneeling.
Ability to lift, move, or position items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to communicate clearly with passengers, dispatch, and team
members. Ability to maintain focus and alertness while driving in
various weather, lighting, and traffic conditions. Ability to
perform the essential driving functions required to operate the
assigned vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT and company
standards. Paid CDL Training: TransWest offers current team members
paid training to get their Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement
or add a Passenger Endorsement to a current CDL license, so that
you can grow your career as a bus driver. Must commit to one year
as a full time CDL Driver at TransWest. Learn more at: Paid Class B
