Amazon Air is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills along with strong record of delivering results to support our team in building the next stage of the Amazon Air network in North America. The team is comprised of leaders with in-depth experience of the Amazon supply chain and/or commercial airline networks who are passionate about taking the Amazon Air network to the next level and enable increasingly faster deliver speeds on more selection at lower cost for Amazon customers. We are seeking candidates who have: - Ability to think strategically and execute methodically - Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external organizations to achieve corporate goals, including the ability to influence upward as necessary - Extensive experience in retrieving, processing and synthesizing data to drive critical business decisions - Ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams - High proficiency in written and oral communications - High attention to detail, including proven ability to manage competing priorities, simultaneously Key job responsibilities - Lead critical projects and planning cycles that power North America AIR operations to ensure AIR achieves its core mission of offering fast Prime shipments to customers - Partner with internal AIR Product Managers and Research Scientists to refine planning technology, tools, and processes, and drive the future tech roadmap for speed and revenue management - Improve performance to plan by identifying, measuring and managing key metrics related to Amazon Air. Promote process improvement and standardization of processes across all sites in the network. - Pull and report data from numerous databases (using Excel, Tableau, SQL and/or other data management systems) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required - Participate in long term planning and modeling sessions - Travel up to 10% A day in the life Your day will be a blend of strategic analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. You'll dive deep into data, design optimization models, and develop transformative solutions that reshape how packages move across our national air network, ensuring our planes are full of fast, high-value shipments. About the team We are the strategic architects behind Amazon Air's nationwide transportation network. Our team is dedicated to creating seamless, efficient delivery solutions that connect customers with the products they love. We're passionate about pushing the boundaries of logistics technology and continuously improving our network's performance. - 5 years of supply chain experience - 5 years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization - Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc. - Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field - Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
