Position Summary:. The Director of Talent Engagement and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) will direct HealthPoint’s employee engagement strategy with a focus on furthering diversity, equity and inclusion across our people practices and programs. The Director will drive employee relations strategies that strengthen relationships and support the organization’s goals for DEI.. Your contribution to the team includes:. Collaborate with the Vice President of Talent Management and support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with developing people strategies and initiatives that foster a great workplace experience for all HealthPoint staff.. Collaborate across organizational boundaries to develop, implement, and monitor progress of employee engagement and DEI initiatives against ongoing strategic and tactical initiatives that enhance HealthPoint’s work environment and staff experience overall.. Lead a team of engagement professionals focusing on enhancing organizational culture, practices and programs that support current and future business operations.. Direct employee relations and performance management.. Oversee leave management.. Stay abreast of regulatory change and educate team and operational leaders regarding employment legal and regulatory requirements.. Function as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion subject matter expert for HealthPoint.. Recommend and develop programs and initiatives that foster an inclusive workplace that recognizes, acknowledges, and supports employee engagement and champions diversity and equity in alignment with HealthPoint’s Mission and strategic imperatives.. Engage with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Council to support our under-represented staff populations and ensure a great place to work for all.. Partner closely with the Directors of Talent Pathways and Learning, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management Operations to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion into HealthPoint’s people practices and programs.. Collaborate with Talent Management Operations (TMO) team and business leaders to develop, maintain, and monitor DEI metrics, and research-based insights to diagnose and assess the impact of specific strategies and initiatives on employee engagement and staff retention.. Develop and execute engagement and DEI strategies to support a capable, engaged, and resilient staff community across the organization.. Drive a listening culture and build feedback mechanisms into employee engagement activities and partner with HealthPoint’s Communication and Engagement team to drive internal communications that enable staff to have an opportunity for dialogue.. Direct the management of employee engagement surveys, including an annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion survey; along with best practice action planning, goal setting, and monitoring progress.. Facilitate best practice employee engagement methodologies to enhance the employee experience, elevate organizational performance and retain talent.. Seek and cultivate positive relationships across organizational boundaries to build and strengthen relationships, leverage talents, and enhance job satisfaction and performance.. Partner with operational leaders to enhance employee engagement and develop people initiatives that align with operational objectives, drive performance, and furthers the Mission of HealthPoint.. Engage with operational leaders to support performance planning and review, and the creation of growth and learning plans for teams and individuals.. Model respectful, professional and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment.. Maintain good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, core values and goals of HealthPoint and its healthcare delivery including the ability to integrate values of justice, respect, compassion, excellence and stewardship into appropriate programs and services.. This position has supervisory responsibility.. Must have’s you’ll need to be successful:. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development or a combination of relevant education.. 7+ years in an HR/Talent Management leadership role, including prior experience with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts required.. Demonstrated deep passion and commitment to improve organizational outcomes and enhance our employee experience through diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.. Able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with individuals of diverse and multicultural backgrounds. Proven experience successfully collaborating across organizational boundaries.. Communication Skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common industry related journals, financial reports, and legal documents.. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.. Licenses or Certificates. Senior Professional in Human Resources, SPHR or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP required; or combination of Professional in HR (PHR) or SHRM-CP. Certified or specialized education and learning as a DEI specialist highly desired..
