All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.
Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Mid Level Tool Manufacturing Planner to support the 737 Program to join their team located in Renton, WA .

A successful candidate in this role will have passion, creativity, and an insatiable desire for process improvement and efficiency. They will also have a strong desire to be out in the factory, interacting with mechanics, and directly supporting the production system. In Production Engineering, we need highly responsible professionals committed to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and integrity.

Position Responsibilities:
Regularly engages with Tool Engineering, Tool Construction, and Tool Industrial Engineering to help determine tool build method and location

Participates in tooling design reviews to provide feedback on manufacturability of new and changing tools

Break down a tool design into its primary components for ordering of raw material

Manage backlog queues using Boeing business systems

Develop and implement process improvements using Lean production methodologies

Experience learning within a fast paced environment

Excellent communication skills

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. -- 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
2+ years of experience in tool design, tool construction, or tooling value stream

Experience working in Microsoft Office

Experience in reading and comprehending engineering tooling drawings

Experience with 3D modeling programs for dimensional measurements

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience using CATIA

5+ years of experience working within the tooling value stream

Experienced in collaborating with both the engineering work force and the mechanics on the factory floor

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
