Who are we?
Washington Multi-Family Housing Association (WMFHA) is a leading
not-for-profit member organization serving owners, managers, and
developers of rental housing, and industry service and product
suppliers working together to promote and enrich the multifamily
housing industry in Washington state. -WMFHA serves its members
through effective leadership and advocacy, educational and career
development opportunities, information exchange, networking
opportunities, and business development. WMFHA is the
state-chartered affiliate organization of the National Apartment
Association (NAA).

The Membership Services Specialist is responsible for enhancing
membership growth, engagement, and satisfaction to meet the
association's mission, vision, and values and to serve our valued
members. You can enjoy assisting with the coordination of
membership services and recruiting programs and serve as a key
liaison to support member engagement and satisfaction! You are a
problem solver by nature and enjoy building relationships. Keeping

- - - - - - - - -Conduct "exit interviews" with members who have
canceled membership
- - - - - - - - -Promote Members Using Members campaign
- - - - - - - - -Coordinate annual membership drive
- - - - - - - - -Identify and reach out to potential future
members
- - - - - - - - -Responsible for member database updates and
accuracy
- - - - - - - - -Assist with preparation of "member engagement road
shows"
- - - - - - - - -Answer telephone while at WMFHA office
- - - - - - - - -Support membership in Eastern Washington and other
geographic markets
- - - - - - - - -Assist with event preparation
- - - - - - - - -Serve as WMFHA team liaison to Membership

Suite applications

nonprofit experience a bonus
Position Details:
- - - - - - - - -Reports of Director of Events.
- - - - - - - - -Hourly, non-exempt.
- - - - - - - - -Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- - - - - - - - -Work from the WMFHA office when needed
- - - - - - - - -Flexible work schedule (some after-hours work) and
some work from home opportunities
- - - - - - - - -Some travel required
- - - - - - - - -Some moderate lifting may be required plus light
physical work. Accommodations can be made upon request
