Wage Range: $37.74 $69.60 (Commensurate with experience)Thank you for your interest in EvergreenHealth and in our RN Residency Program!EvergreenHealth is seeking new graduate RNs to join the well - established, fast - paced team in the EvergreenHealth Progressive Care Unit. The PCU unit is an Intermediate level of care unit between the ICU and general medical surgical department. All PCU unit patients require continuous cardiac monitoring. RN RESIDENCY PROGRAM DETAILS:EvergreenHealth's Residency Program consists of group practicums and lectures that support the graduate RN to mitigate the education-to-industry gap. We foster growth in the clinical, professional, and transitional aspects of professional nursing practice. The Residency program incorporates collaborative team support by managers, preceptors, and clinical nurse educators. RN Residents required to have an active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN license) and a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS/ CPR card by start date of February 6,2023 and a two-year (2) employment commitment with EvergreenHealth. Must be able to start the program on February 6, 2023.To receive consideration for this RN Resident program, please submit an application to include a comprehensive resume (that includes rotation and practicum information) and a one-page cover letter that describes your interest in the Progressive Care Unit specifically and includes the personal and professional attributes you would bring to this program and unit.For more information about the RN Residency program click hereQualificationsLicense, Certification, Education or Experience:REQUIRED for the position:Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of employment if applicableLicensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington by February 6, 2023Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by February 6, 2023American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of date of hire.DESIRED for the position:Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred)Senior Practicum in Critical Care or Intermediate/ Step down unitEvergreenHealth is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. The literature shows that having a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) contributes significantly to the quality of care.
