The Role
A successful candidate will be highly self-directed and willing to
interpret, design and implement vague regulatory language in
support of defining business requirements, new processes and
technology solutions to aid in regulatory reporting and compliance.
This position requires a willingness and interest in learning new
cloud technologies and dealing with data transformations, as well
as being an excellent problem-solver and be able to work with all
levels of the organization. As a key business team member, the
successful candidate will contribute to the sustaining, enhancement
and evolution of the entire GHG technology stack. Proficiency in
software development, excellent written and verbal skills are
required.
About the Team
PACCAR's Information Technology Division (ITD) is the central
division for PACCAR focused on delivering world class IT solutions.
The Greenhouse Gas Solutions (GHG) team is at the forefront of
PACCAR's regulatory compliance efforts, helping to ensure
conformity to increasingly stringent requirements. Working as a
member of a cross-divisional team of subject matter experts, you
will help to shape PACCAR's ability to respond to an ever-evolving
regulatory landscape.
Job Responsibilities
+ Gather, interpret, design and implement business and regulatory
requirements for the Greenhouse Gas Solutions development team.
+ Identify dependencies between technologies to help drive
technical requirements
+ Understanding and working experience on MDM solutions
+ Understand and follow the Agile software development life cycle
methodology
+ Understand cloud computing concepts and architecture
+ Build and maintain positive relationships with co-workers
+ Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
simultaneously
+ Develop and execute test scenarios to ensure the stability and
performance of applications utilizing unit test framework
+ Deliver production support to maintain business functionality
+ Use of Azure DevOps on a daily basis Application Lifecycle
Management (ALM) tool
+ Embodies and promotes PACCAR ITD values of Teamwork, Continuous

Required Experience & Skills
+ 5+ years of experience shipping or running production systems
and/or software, including complex production systems
+ Proficient in one or more object-oriented languages (e.g. C#,
Java)
+ Experience in MDM solution implementation
+ Experience working with Stibo STEP solutions is a plus
+ Expertise in working in an agile development environment applying
DevOps practices using a multitude of tools and services
+ Demonstrated ability to turn abstract requirements into a
successful roadmap for delivery of production code
+ An amazing ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and
convincingly to technical and non-technical audiences
+ Analytical ability to synthesis data and reporting on metrics
+ Ability to take a business user story, and translate it into
design specs, development tasks, and provide accurate, reasonable
estimates for completion
+ Must be a "Go-Getter" with a relentless mindset to "dig in" to
find a solution
Education
+ A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related
discipline or the equivalent

salary range for the Software Developer/Senior Software Developer -
GHG is $93,000 - $145,500 annually. Additionally, this role is
