Job DescriptionOpportunity:Parsons is hiring an experienced Architectural Specialist to work on transportation projects such as the Inglewood Transit Corridor in Los Angeles, the HART extension in Honolulu, the Austin transit project, and new projects for Seattle Sound Transit.This role involves performing architectural assignments, developing design solutions, and ensuring compliance with standards. The position can be based in Los Angeles (Pasadena) or Seattle, with a hybrid remote work arrangement (2-3 days from home).Responsibilities:

• Conduct architectural studies, develop design concepts, and prepare reports.
• Review CAD drawings, renderings, and construction documents for compliance.
• Provide technical consultations and analyze interdisciplinary studies.
• Write construction specifications and coordinate with suppliers and project teams.
• Review supplier drawings, perform bid analyses, and coordinate with engineering and construction units.
• Guide lower-level designers and stay updated on technological advancements.
• Prepare staffing estimates and project execution plans.Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with transit transportation projects is preferred.
• Master's degree is a plus but not required.Skills:
  • Proficiency in architectural design standards, CAD, and PC software.
  • Ability to present to clients is preferred.Additional Information:
    • No security clearance required.
    • Part of the Critical Infrastructure team.
    • Salary Range: $86,700 - $151,700.
