The Senior Reimbursement Revenue Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex revenue streams and understanding financial impacts that arise. Proactively identifies potential issues through forward looking analytics, as well as providing assistance in the training of fellow caregivers. Requires proven and deep knowledge, skills and abilities in the areas of Finance, Reimbursement and Revenue Cycle Reporting, Analysis, Organization Hierarchy, Organizational Crosswalks/Mapping, Reporting Hierarchy, and dashboard analytics. This role will be heavily focused on monitoring and escalating issues related to net revenue, mitigating risk on the balance sheet, and involvement in quarterly/annual forecasting and budgets processes. In this role, you'll maintain in depth knowledge of operation improvements plans and assist in development of net revenue models. Requires participation in revenue audits, meetings all selection deadlines, and completion of peer reviews. This role may serve as lead revenue analyst with solid data analysis background willing to learn new methodologies and data review techniques and support our existing reporting deliverables. This role will be the go-to expert in all ad-hoc reporting and mentor other team caregivers by providing feedback and review of analysis requests from the field. The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes PSJH mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, he/she serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization. This role will recommend and audit data items exchanged with 3rd party vendors and/or consultant companies to assist with any revenue projects where we need to send data outside our Providence St. Joseph networks. This requires knowledge of revenue related initiatives and strategic projects. In this position you will have the following responsibilities:Analyze complex revenue streams and drawing conclusion regarding key drivers. Recommend solutions based on business requirementsCommunicate findings to key stakeholders and conduct monthly review callsServe as a liaison between the Reimbursement Department and ministry finance leadersAssist in advanced financial analysis and provide technical support for Reimbursement leadership, as requestedCommunicate revenue results to levels of leadership ranging from local leadership to senior system leadership and recommend changes to operations that can improve organizational performanceAssist in Identifying and implement policy and procedural changes to ensure optimal revenue recognition and compliance with internal and external requirementsAssist in evaluation and preparation of various reimbursement optimization strategies and makes recommendations that positively impact existing reimbursement schemesParticipate and recommend solutions for special projects and provide analytical support for Reimbursement, Finance and Revenue Cycle leadershipKeep the Manager apprised of issues within the office and seeks assistance in a timely manner such that critical deadlines are keptProvide training and development to other analyst positions across the financial reporting pillar, mentoring other caregivers in areas of proficienciesAssist in the development of Medicare, Medicaid, and other governmental payment modelingAdvanced analysis of the relationship between accounts receivable valuation as it relates to actual vs estimated results and potential impacts to the income statementLead quarterly revenue audits. Providing concise and clear documentation in a timely manner. Provide one point of contact for external auditors and internal stakeholdersAssist regional and system finance teams in forecasting and annual net revenue budget process.
