Find your future with us.Boeing is looking for an Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector Boeing Aircraft on Ground (AOG) to join our teams supporting Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Renton, WA.In this role you will perform production installations, maintenance, preventative maintenance, alterations and quality assurance on aircraft structure, systems and sub-systems, including electrical and avionics on standard or experimental certificated aircraft.Position Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, service aircraft and engine systems to prepare aircraft for flight.
• Perform Quality functions such as Customer/FAA Coordination, Configuration Change Verification, Conformity Inspections, Airworthiness Inspections (including Pre-flight and Post-flights), Corrective Action and Investigations.
• Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies, or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
• Perform Aviation Maintenance Technician Inspector tasks in order to obtain and maintain knowledge, skills and required certifications.

• Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, processes, and procedures.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asyleeBasic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
  • Functional Test/Avionics/Electrical Technician Structural Mechanic and Composite Repair Technician with rework experience.
  • Be willing to travel anytime, anywhere with little to no advance notice and be assigned AOG type emergent work utilizing skills and abilities to ensure quality products for Boeing customers worldwide and locally.
  • Must accept AOG assignments on any shift in the Puget Sound area and abroad to provide support for Boeing products.
  • Operate computing equipment to access job information. Maintenance Manual experience desired. Boeing drawing knowledge required.
  • Work with other highly skilled employees in close proximity in a team like environment.
  • Be willing and able to work for extended periods of time for many days in adverse conditions and environments.
  • Use and understand various precision measuring tools.
  • Be able to communicate and take direction.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain core certifications to perform AOG work. Must be able to operate ground equipment such as forklifts, snorkel lifts, scissor lifts etc.
  • Must be able to obtain a United States passport and be subject to an FAA mandated drug and alcohol test with random checks.
  • Must be deemed physically able to perform AOG type work after a medical evaluation.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred. Please note your certificate number on your resume if you are certified.
    • Prefer a minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background.
