DescriptionDogwood Industries is seeking a Shipping Material
Handler at our Factory in Everett, WA. The core mission of the
Shipping Material Handler is to facilitate the efficient and
accurate shipping of finished product. The Shipping Material
Handler is an integral part of the production team and is required
to have comprehensive knowledge about the material and understand
the manufacturing workflow. Employee will be hands on in the
preparation, packaging and load out of completed product.Duties &
ResponsibilitiesEnsures the readiness of outgoing product through
execution of prep to ship proceduresManages change when unforeseen
conditions require adjustments to work plan and schedule Meets
deadlines and completes projects on time Is skilled in documenting,
tracking and reporting Maintains safe, clean and orderly work
environmentAccurately follow material control
proceduresRequirements:RequirementsComfortable working in an
industrial manufacturing environmentStrong organization skills and
the ability to track, retain and integrate informationAbility to
confidently interface with all levels of company
organizationAbility to meet critical deadlines and schedulesFluent
in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Excellent written
communications, using correct grammar and spellingQualifications2+
years of experience operating a forklift Previous construction,
warehouse, or manufacturing experiencePrevious shipping and/or

Requirements/Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here
are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body,
able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions,
including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over,
sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects,
tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance
for extended periods of time. Be able to lift, pull and push
material and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to
lift 70 pounds of weight throughout assigned workday if required.
The employee will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust,
fumes, and odors. This position requires physical activity
performing somewhat strenuous daily activities in a primarily
production environment. The work environment characteristics here
are representative of those an employee encounters while performing
the essential functions of this job. Compensation$22.00 - $38.00
per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
