VCA Pacific Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Licensed
Veterinary Technician to join our expanding team!Compensation: $ 26
- $ 30 / hour.*determined by skill set, education, certifications,
and years of experience in the field. Financial growth
opportunities available.Schedule: Full-time opportunity, afternoons
and Saturday schedule. We utilize a 4x10 schedule, and schedule is
flexible.Location: 10234 Pacific Ave, Tacoma, WA 98444Who We Are:At

full-service facility offering Preventative/Routine care, Surgery
and Dental procedures, Urgent Care, and Hospitalization. This is
not your typical preventative care visit.We believe in a team

our patients.Overall Responsibility: Our LVTs provide compassionate
veterinary care to our patients. We are passionate about supporting

abilities.The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are
not limited to:Collect patient histories and review referral
medical records for pertinent informationPerform physical exams and
report results to doctorPlace and maintain intravenous
cathetersWorking knowledge of radiation safetyPerform radiographs
and other diagnostic imaging as orderedObtain laboratory samples
via venipuncture, cystocentesis, and fecal collectionPerform
in-hospital laboratory diagnostics including fecals, urinalysis,
differentials, and cytologiesProcess lab samples utilizing
in-hospital laboratory equipmentAbility to calculate drug dosages
accuratelyManage client invoices (PVL) and charge for urgent care
services appropriatelyMaintain accurate and complete medical
recordsMaintain a clean work environment to include following any
infectious disease protocols, handle medical/biomedical, and
infectious waste appropriatelyTacoma sits in a beautiful part of
Western Washington where access to everything is within easy reach.

being close to an unending variety of nightlife, culture, and
entertainment. Surrounding communities include Seattle, Fort Lewis
